This blog provides short reviews for the latest books on the market. Book-A-Day Almanac Highlights one children's book each day, plus includes fun facts about that day in the history of children's literature. Guys Read This website, started by children's author Jon Scieszka, had a mission to "motivate boys to read by connecting them with materials they will want to read, in ways they like to read." Includes recommended book lists on a variety of topics. For Those About to Mock and Heavy Medal Similar in format, both of these websites feature several different bloggers who weigh in on potential award-winning children's books. Things get feisty when Newbery time rolls around. |
MI KidLib Unconference Notes
